Friends Dress & Blouse

When I was naming this pattern I had made it for my dear friend for her special birthday dress and was going to name it after her, then I thought of other friends who would also wear this dress, then others and as my mind flickered to all the ladies I thought would like this pattern I thought, this is The Friends Dress & Blouse , and so it was named.

A raglan sleeve that is split, this was to ensure that there was plenty of room in the sleeves but it didn't overwhelm the wearer with too much gathering around the neck.

An elasticised collar was important as a design feature as I wanted the collar to sit gathered evenly at all times.

Tassels or fabric ties added at the v neck opening to give a gorgeous boho feel but it's optional as to whether these are functional.
